VISITORS BEWARE

Playing with Tucker

Everyone is aware that the house we are all living in needed a little work (to be nice) or massive renovations which ever way you look at it is fine with me. I now have an established pattern for house guests.

First it was my family Oma, Poppa, and CC. They came down for their vacation and in reality spent three weeks of hard labor. People in prison have it easier, wiring, lighting, painting, pool renovation, the list goes on and on. When they left here they needed a vacation from their vacation.

Well, Tuckers dad Chris made the mistake of coming down for the holidays. Needless to say he took one look at the place, took pity on me, and dove in to the projects just like everyone else. The upshot is the dryer will not catch fire (due to excessive lint in the pipes) that little beauty took removing the laundry room floor and about a day of labor. The tree will not fall on the master bedroom, and thousands of other things like leaf removal, massive drainage problems, pool cleaning, emergency car repair, and a myriad of other issues. He did squeeze in time to play with Tucker tons, and hang out with the other boys as well as help with the cooking.

The only plus side to visiting is I do try to feed the help so at least you don't starve, but let this be a lesson to all visitors, bring your work clothes if you decide to come down to the deep south to visit this household.

Thanks Chris for all your hard work! Hope you visit again really soon!
