This is the battery powered fish Michelle brought over. It looks real from a distance and swims well too.

Tucker has really been enjoying the new house. We have had tons of friends around. Everyones favorite activity has been the pool. My friend Michelle came over last weekend loaded up with floating toys for the kids to play with in the pool. They have all been having the best time ever with all of the squirt guns and animals.

Snapp as Captain Morgan

Snapp is doing really well in football, he is having a great time on and off the field. Did I mention he and Jackie are dating? I think she is really great, so I am glad to have her over. One other thing, my friend Michelle gave Snapp a cell phone they were not using. I have not decided if that is a good thing or not yet since all he does now is text... Constantly text... Thanks lots Michelle, I think.

Quiet Moments

It was a very laid back afternoon, I looked out the window and found all of the boys sitting by the pool, just talking. I really love to see the three of them sitting together, just being...

Attack of the Birds

We are settling in very nicely to the new house and have noticed something unusual. We have three birds nesting in the backyard trees. Everyday they stand around the swimming pool and eat bugs out of it. This by itself is not strange, very helpful to have natural skimmers for the pool, but these birds are huge, and they do not look full grown. Yikes! They are not bothered at all by our cat Sequoia who has a regular diet of critters and such. She gets near them, they turn, look at her and squawk. In a very loud voice.....

Craig has named them Larry, Daryl and Daryl. They are tons of fun to watch and I will be thrilled when I find out what the heck they are!!! I have no clue.

First Day at the New House

Yes they are all football players, and yes this was all their idea.

We are all really enjoying the new house, but not the move. It is taking forever, and now both of the houses are trashed. Hopefully, we can get everything out of the old house by wed, so we can clean and paint it. (it is going to be leased) It is hard to be fixing everything at the old house when all I want to do is paint the new one.

On the plus side, we now have lots of room so everyone has their own space to do things. Craig has one room set up for all of his hobbies and he loves it. I have plenty of space to do my own things too.

Tucker has made it his job to maintain the pool. It is so freaking hot down here I have had to keep him out during the day so his poor shoulders can heal from the burn. Luckily the pool is in the shade in the afternoon, so that is his time to play. He is also working really hard on his basketball, and has already made lots of baskets.

Other than that it is just, go to the old house, load the truck, drive to the new house, unpack the truck, and so on and so on......
